Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal data Elixrbio collects through elixrbio.com, why we collect it, how long we keep it, and the rights you have over it under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and the UK GDPR.

Who we are

Elixrbio is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. You can reach us at yana@elixrbio.com for any privacy question or request.

What we collect

Newsletter signups. Your email address, the form you used, and the page you submitted it from.

Contact inquiries. Your name, email address, organization (optional), inquiry type, and the message you send us.

Basic analytics. Aggregate, non-identifying page view and traffic-source counts. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking.

Why we use it, and our legal basis

We use your email address to send you research updates, publications, and company news - on the basis of the consent you give when you submit the form. We use contact-form details to respond to your inquiry, on the basis of our legitimate interest in answering people who write to us. We never sell your data or share it for advertising.

Who processes it

Signups and inquiries are stored in our managed database infrastructure and, for media inquiries, shared with our communications agency In Like Flinn Communications so they can respond. These providers act as processors on our instructions.

How long we keep it

We keep newsletter emails until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete them, and we review the list at least every three years. We keep contact inquiries for up to 24 months after the conversation ends, unless a longer period is needed for a business or legal reason.

Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, delete, or export your data, withdraw your consent at any time, or object to how we use it. Email yana@elixrbio.com and we will respond within 30 days. Every newsletter email also includes an unsubscribe link. If you believe we have not handled your data properly, you have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes we will update the date at the top of this page.
